Background                                                                  

Professor Fan Zhang (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.E. degree in communication engineering from the Civil Aviation University of China, Tianjin, China, in 2002, the M.S. degree in signal and information processing from Beihang University, Beijing, China, in 2005, and the Ph.D. degree in signal and information processing from the Institute of Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, in 2008.,He is currently a Full Professor of electronic and information engineering with the Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Beijing. His research interests are remote sensing image processing, high-performance computing, and artificial intelligence.
