Dr. Ming-Qing Zhang

Background
Dr. Ming-Qing Zhang received his Ph.D. degree from College of Information Science and Engineering, China University of Petroleum, Beijing in 2022. Currently, he is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Automation, College of Information Science and Technology, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and is affiliated with the Engineering Research Center of Intelligent PSE, Ministry of Education of China. His research interests lie in the areas of system safety analysis and modeling, process monitoring, and control, data recovery and completion, and he has published over 20 research papers in these fields. In 2021-2022, he studied as a visiting scholar at the National University of Singapore. He has participated in several key R&D projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China.
Research Interests
Focused on robust detection, statistical machine learning, high-dimensional statistics, convex and nonconvex optimization, missing data recovery or matrix completion, etc.
