Abstract:With the deep integration of new generation information technology and manufacturing industry, the manufacturing industry is driving optimization, cost reduction, and striving to achieve high-end, intelligent, and green development. In the process of globalization, distributed scheduling has become an inevitable trend to achieve networked manufacturing paradigm. On the path of sustainable development, green scheduling is the inevitable approach to achieve ecological manufacturing paradigm. Given the complexity of manufacturing systems, such as large scale, nonlinearity, strong constraints, multiple objectives, and uncertainties, the application of mathematical model-based methods is limited, and achieving global, efficient, and robust optimization in the scheduling process poses significant challenges. The fusion of model analysis and data analytics, collaboration between knowledge-driven approaches and collective intelligence, and the synergy between machine learning and operations research optimization are expected to be effective approaches in designing intelligent scheduling optimization methods for complex manufacturing systems.
