Background                                                                  

She received both Master and Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Once worked in the Institute of Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the European Space Research Institute, European Space Agency (ESA-ESRIN), and now with Beijing University of Chemical Technology after postdoctoral research.

She leads the teaching team of Digital Image Processing, is the Principle Investigator of the projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Beijing Natural Science Foundation of China, and responsible for the polarimetric SAR processing software development of National major scientific and technological infrastructure---Aerial Remote Rensing System. She is the PI and Co-PI of the international cooperation “Dragon Programme” (Phase VI and Phase IV-V) between the Ministry of Science and Technology and ESA.

She is IEEE senior member, the expert of ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Geographic Information Technology Committee Working Group, the Asia-Pacific coordinator of IEEE GRSS (Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society) from 2016 to 2020 and the vice president of IEEE WIE (Women in Engineering) Beijing Chapter from 2021 to present.
