Recently, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation announced the review results of the Special Funding of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation in 2025. Guo Jipeng, a postdoctoral fellow of our college, was approved for the 18th Batch of Special Funding from the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation.
The Special Funding of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation is a high-level postdoctoral research project funded by the state, carried out once a year. The Special Funding is designed to inspire postdoctoral researchers in stations to enhance their innovative capabilities. It is provided to outstanding postdoctoral researchers, and the funding recipients are determined through expert panel reviews. Nationwide, 1,200 people are selected for funding each year.
Guo Jipeng, a Doctor of Engineering, Master's Supervisor, and "Boxue" Young Scholar at Beijing University of Chemical Technology. He joined the postdoctoral station in July 2023, with Professor Wang Youqing as his postdoctoral co-supervisor. His research mainly focuses on artificial intelligence and industrial process safety control. Dr. Guo Jipeng has published more than 30 academic papers, including international journals in the field of artificial intelligence such as IEEE TPAMI/TIP/TNNLS/TIM/TBD, IEEE/CAA JAS, ACM TKDD, Neural Networks, Information Fusion, etc., and international conferences such as AAAI (oral) and ICASSP. He was awarded the 2023 Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Beijing Institute of Image and Graphics (only 5 in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region) and other honors.
