On January 16, the 2025 Annual Academic Conference of the School of Information Science and Technology, Beijing University of Chemical Technology was successfully held in the Multi-Function Hall on the first floor of the Conference Center.
Dean Wang Youqing, Party Secretary Feng He, and all faculty members gathered to review the annual achievements and discuss the frontier developments of the discipline.
The conference kicked off at 10:00 a.m. on January 16 and consisted of three sessions.
First, Dean Wang Youqing delivered the 2025 Annual Work Summary Report, comprehensively reviewing the school’s progress and achievements in teaching, scientific research, talent development and other fields in 2025.
In the subsequent annual academic report session, four teachers—Chen Long, Gu Weiwei, Guo Jipeng, and Zhu Yaohui—shared their latest research findings and practical applications around frontier directions including Construction of Network Security Large Model Datasets, Network Representation Learning Algorithms, Unsupervised Graph Contrastive Representation Learning, and Optical-Red Fusion Object Detection.
Finally, Party Secretary Feng He delivered a concluding speech, affirming the college’s achievements over the past year and putting forward new expectations for disciplinary development and academic innovation in the next stage.
This annual academic conference is not only a summary meeting for the school’s annual work, but also a communication platform for interdisciplinary integration and academic exchange. It has built consensus and clarified the direction for the school’s future scientific research and talent development.
