Complex Network Analysis

Speaker: Fan Ying
Time: May 30 16:00, 2023
Venue: The second lecture hall of Conference Center, East Campus

Abstract:Complex network analysis is an important method in the study of complexity, which focuses on the patterns of interactions within a system. This lecture will provide a brief introduction to the process of conducting complex network analysis, including its position in complexity research, network model construction, quantitative characterization of network topology, network evolution and mechanisms, as well as dynamics on networks. The aim is to provide an overview of the field of complex networks.

Biography: Fan Ying is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Systems Science, Beijing Normal University.
