Zhang Fan, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Vice Dean of School of Information Technology, also member of Beijing University of Chemical Technology Degree Evaluation Committee, Director of Institute of Remote Sensing Technology.

graduated from Institute of Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2008, majoring in Signal and Information Processing, and received Ph.D. degree, worked in Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) since post-doctoral termination from Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2010. As a visiting scholar to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA, and the Technische Universität Dresden, Germany, for visiting research in 2014 and 2017.

  •  Research on unbiased detection of SAR targets based on deep long-tail learnin(National Natural Science Foundation of China)

  •  Multi-angle SAR Target Recognition Based on Deep Recursive Learning in Resource-Constrained Environment(National Natural Science Foundation of China)

  •  Mixed-Granularity Parallel Simulation of Multi-Dimensional SAR Echo Driven by Irregular Problems(National Natural Science Foundation of China)

Main Achievements & Awards

 Presided over more than 30 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), published more than 100 academic papers, including more than 40 papers in IEEE journals, 4 papers in CVPR/ICLR/ICCV/etc., and 7 highly cited papers in ESI, and served as editorial board member of Radar Journal, council member of Graduate Student Education Branch of the Chinese Society of Electronics Education, etc. Awarded the Beijing Natural Science and Technology Award. Awarded the Second Prize of Beijing Natural Science (Rank 1) and the Young Teaching Master Award of Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
