Focusing on the policy of opening up to the outside world formulated by the Party and the Country, as well as continuously improving the internationalization level of our university and the training quality of international students in our university, Vice President Wang Feng led a team to carry out research activities on the construction of all-English courses for international talent training in relevant colleges of our university.

At the meeting, Li Dazi, deputy dean of teaching of the College of Information Science and Technology, reported on the construction of international talent training courses from three aspects: the construction of international courses for undergraduate students, the establishment of English courses for master students, and international exchanges and cooperation. To further enhance students' proficiency in expressing themselves and writing reports, fostering an international perspective, and promoting cross-cultural communication and cooperation skills, our school has set up some bilingual courses in the training program. Additionally, our school has been assisting the College of National Education in setting up a number of relevant courses for international students and has signed cooperation agreements with universities such as the University of California and the University of Edinburgh. All along, our college has been strengthening the construction of international courses, elevating students' international competency, benefiting students from various majors, and broadening students' international exchange and vision.

In his concluding speech, Vice President Wang Feng pointed out that all colleges should fully understand the ideas and directions of the school's internationalization development and closely integrate the college's internationalization work plan. He made several requests to the colleges. The first is to improve the curriculum system and the construction of training programs. The second is to invite experts to the school to learn from the experiences of other universities in training international students, especially in the construction of curriculum systems and teaching methods. The third is to hire foreign teachers to teach and increase international exchanges.

Vice President Wang Feng pointed out that this meeting enhanced everyone's understanding of the importance of all-English curriculum construction and international talent training, and also enhanced mutual understanding among colleges. In the future, he hopes that all colleges could actively organize all-English curriculum and professional construction, and could push forward the construction of all-English curriculum in our school according to the time schedule. Numerous excellent English courses have emerged, making significant contributions to the enhancement of our international competency and the continuous improvement of the quality of international talent training.

College of Information Science and Technology will respond to the instruction of Vice President Wang Feng by strengthening the curriculum construction, improving the quality of education and cultivating the comprehensive abilities of students. We will continue to promote our internationalization efforts and dedicate ourselves to the cultivation of internationally competitive talents. We are strengthening international exchanges and cooperation, providing students with a broader international perspective, and offering academic exchange opportunities to enhance students' international literacy.
