Dr. Yang Yuan
Lecturer
Background
Yang Yuan, Lecturer, Master's Thesis Supervisor. He obtained his Ph.D. in Control Science and Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 2018. From 2023 to 2024, he was a visiting scholar at the National University of Singapore, supported by the China Scholarship Council. His primary research interests include modeling and optimization of complex chemical processes, the trade-off between steady-state design and dynamic control, control enhancement, and industrial defect detection. To date, he has published more than fifty academic papers indexed by SCI/EI. He has led several projects, including those funded by the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities, the Chinese Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and the Key Areas R&D Program of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.
