Background

Zhang Fengyuan, Ph.D., Researcher, and Master’s Supervisor, is a distinguished academic and educator with extensive expertise in information processing, cryptography, and information security. He is a Teaching Master at Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT), a reviewer for the Degree Center of the Ministry of Education, and an executive director of the "New Business Discipline Committee" within the National Alliance of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Innovation in Higher Education.

Dr. Zhang earned his Ph.D. in Engineering from the School of Electronic and Information Engineering at Beihang University (BUAA) in 2004. That same year, he joined BUCT, where he served as the Associate Director of the Academic Affairs Office for over a decade, focusing on educational management. He has also contributed significantly to teaching and research at the School of Information Engineering.

Dr. Zhang’s research has been supported by multiple National Natural Science Foundation projects, and he has published more than 40 scholarly articles. He teaches foundational courses such as Signals and Systems and Digital Signal Processing. His teaching excellence has been recognized with numerous accolades, including the Beijing Teaching Achievement First Prize (2013) and two University-Level Teaching Achievement First Prizes (2013, 2016).
