Background

Liang Yongtu, Ph.D., Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor in the Department of Computer Science, is a leading expert in Petroleum Engineering. He is a doctoral advisor for the Oil and Gas Storage and Transportation Engineering program at the School of Petroleum Engineering, China University of Petroleum (Beijing). During his doctoral studies, he had the privilege of being a visiting scholar at Robert Gordon University in the United Kingdom.

Professor Liang’s research primarily focuses on the optimization of oil and gas logistics and the enhancement of surface engineering systems for oil and gas fields, contributing to advancements in the efficiency and sustainability of petroleum engineering practices.
