On the afternoon of December 1, 2024, the "2024 Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Electronic Information Professional Group Deans' Teaching Forum and First-class Professional Construction Seminar" was held in Gaojingjian Building, East Campus of Beijing University of Chemical Technology. Liang Yongtu, vice President of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Long Keping, deputy director of the Electronic Information Teaching Steering Committee of higher Education institutions of the Ministry of Education, and teaching deans, professional leaders, course group leaders and backbone teachers from nearly 40 Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei universities engaged in and concerned about electronic information professional education and teaching participated in the meeting.

Guo Caili, deputy dean of the School of Information and Communication Engineering, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, made a report on the construction of electronic information professional groups. She systematically sorted out the exploration and practice of the professional groups in recent years, and introduced in detail the achievements made in the optimization of course design, the integration of teaching resources and the collaborative innovation mechanism, laying a solid foundation for the follow-up discussion.

"The launching ceremony of the Joint Workshop between Famous teachers and Young teachers" was hosted by Professor Bai Wenle of North China University of Technology, and Professor Zhang Youguang of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics had a friendly conversation with the representatives of young teachers and presented books, encouraging young teachers to make continuous efforts to further promote education and teaching innovation and cultivate high-quality electronic information professionals.
After the ceremony, the participating experts and teachers carried out in-depth exchanges on the construction of information professional courses. Associate Professor Zhan Zhiqiang from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Professor Lian Xiaoqin from Beijing Technology and Business University, Associate Professor Wu Shaobo from Beijing Information Science and Technology University, and Professor Bai Wenle from North China University of Technology shared their advanced experience in engineering education and training system, neural network online course construction, professional introduction course construction, and digital experiment transformation construction respectively.
