From October 23 to 25, the final of the 6th "Shen Hao Cup" China Graduate Robot Innovation Design Competition was held in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. The competition attracted 1,081 teams from 186 graduate training units across the country, and 326 works from 93 units were shortlisted for the finals. After fierce competition, the two teams of the School of Information of our school were selected for the finals and achieved good results.
BlazeWalker -- Humanoid Robot for Self-Exploration in Fire Field developed by graduate students Shao Shibo, Tian Zhenpeng, Du Guofeng, Li Shanglin, Zhang Chi (Supervisor: Cao Zhengcai, Lin Shi) and RoboChemist Chemist developed by graduate students Niu Jie, Tian Jiajun, Hu Yingying, Chai Zhangduan, Huo Dongjie (Supervisor: Cao Zhengcai and Zhang Dong both won the first prize of the 6th China Graduate Student Robot Innovation Design Competition.
This competition has improved the scientific research quality and practical ability of graduate students, practiced the team's talent training mode of promoting innovation through competition and integration of competition and innovation, and demonstrated the profound accumulation of our school in the field of robotics.
"Shen Hao Cup" China Graduate Robot Innovation Design Competition, guided by the Department of Degree and Graduate Education of the Ministry of Education, sponsored by the Chinese Society of Degree and Graduate Education and the Youth Science and Technology Center of the China Association for Science and Technology, is one of the "China Graduate Student Innovation Practice series competitions", and is currently one of the highest level, largest scale and most influential national graduate discipline competitions.
