The 11th "Datang Cup" National College Students New Generation Information and Communication Technology Competition is a national innovative and practical competition sponsored by the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the China Communications Enterprise Association, jointly organized by CITIC Mobile Communication Technology Co., LTD., Beijing University Electronic Information Professional Group of Beijing Education Commission, and co-organized by our university and other universities. The competition has been successfully held for 11 years, and has been selected into the national college students Competition analysis Report competition directory for four consecutive years. The competition has always practiced the concept of "promoting learning through competition and promoting teaching through competition", promoted the deep integration of production and education around the "government, production, learning, research and application" advocated by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, implemented new measures to train new engineering talents, innovated the engineering talent training system, and improved the quality of training innovative top-notch talents.
This year's "Datang Cup" attracted more than 650 universities across the country more than 50,000 teachers and students actively participate. The competition sets two tracks, the ICT Engineering Practice Competition and the Industry-Education Integration 5G+ Innovation Application Design Competition, with the core of true standard innovation, real equipment practice, real problem solving, real scene application, and real industry in the ICT field.
In this competition, a total of 76 students and 33 teams of our school participated in the provincial competition, of which 16 students and 6 teams entered the national finals. The awards of the national finals are shown in the table. At the same time, as the co-organizer of the national finals of the Production-Education Integration 5G+ innovative application Design Competition, our school won the Excellent Organization Collaboration Award.
The School of Information Science and Technology has been committed to cultivating students' practical ability and innovative spirit, and providing students with a broad space for learning and development.
