On November 19, 2024, Beijing Science and Technology Conference and Science and Technology Award Conference was held in Beijing Convention Center. The "Theory and Method of Agile Intelligent Processing of non-limited High-dimensional remote Sensing Information" led by Professor Zhang Fan's team won the second prize of Natural Science.
The project is organized by Beijing University of Chemical Technology and the research team of Southwest Jiaotong University and the Institute of Aerospace Information Innovation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to meet the important needs of Earth observation and realize intelligent and efficient processing innovation of remote sensing data. The main scientific findings are as follows: Aiming at the three theoretical challenges of non-domain remote sensing data, combined with the actual spaceborne/airborne system engineering requirements such as "Gaofen-3" and "Aerial remote sensing system", breakthroughs have been made in the aspects of high-dimensional feature reduction of remote sensing cube data, intelligent learning model construction, and agile deployment of learning models. The results established the general academic idea of non-limited domain processing of high dimensional remote sensing data, and led the research direction of lightweight remote sensing classification network.
