On October 26, the national finals of the 2nd National Smart Teaching Case Competition (Haopu Cup) for Majoring in Electronic Information came to an end. Guided by the Teaching Guidance Committee for Electronic Information Majors of Institutions of Higher Learning under the Ministry of Education, this competition is co-sponsored by the China Electronics Education Association, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and the Virtual Teaching and Research Office for Electronic Information Majors of the Ministry of Education. Adhering to the core principles of "student-centered, digital empowerment, and intelligent innovation", it has attracted 412 teams from 164 universities across the country, aiming to promote the improvement of teaching quality in electronic information majors.
Supported by the college's "AI-empowered Undergraduate Talent Training Reform Project", the team led by Wu Di from the Electrical and Electronic Center of our college has carried out the reform of experimental course teaching. Combining teaching experience, they have created the participating case titled "Research on the Training Mode of AI-empowered Students' Ability to Solve Complex Problems". This case integrates AI technology with experimental teaching, taking the design and implementation of the NPN triode output characteristic curve measurement circuit as the theme. It focuses on students' ability to analyze complex problems, integrate multiple knowledge areas, and conduct product-level engineering design, so as to strengthen the cultivation of students' ability to solve complex problems. After fierce competition, this case stood out from 115 cases in the North China Division, won the first prize in the North China Division, and advanced to the national finals. In the fierce national competition, with its stable performance, solid practical accumulation, and distinctive innovative features, this case won the national first prize (a total of 42 awards) in the national finals. This achievement marks a leap from regional excellence to national leadership, demonstrating the exploration results of our college in the field of teaching reform and smart teaching.
