Abstract:

Innovation is the foundation for the development of science and technology innovation enterprises. Joseph Schumpeter, the father of innovation theory, believed that "Innovation is the commercial application of new technologies or the recombination of existing technologies to create business value."

The report focuses on aspects such as "talent cultivation", "quantified goals", "ecosystem building", and "cultural cultivation". It shares numerous management insights on research and development, science and technology, and innovation garnered throughout a career, exploring how to succeed both in the present and in the future!

Biography:

Dr.ZHANG YU FENG, Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, holds dual master's degrees in Business Administration and Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering. He currently serves as the Chairman of Shanghai Magic Wheel Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. Dr. Zhang Yufeng possesses multiple U.S. technology patents and has received numerous high-level honors and recognitions both domestically and internationally, such as the "Friendship Award" of the Chinese government and the "Magnolia Memorial Award" of Shanghai. Before founding Shanghai Magic Wheel Technology Co., Ltd., he served as the President of Honeywell China, where he was responsible for implementing China's strategy, strengthening business cooperation, and promoting the development and rapid growth of Honeywell in China's mass mid-range market. Before that, during his tenure as the Global President of Honeywell's Integrated Technology Division for more than four years,  he was committed to formulating the framework for the development of global scientific and engineering resources and planning development strategies. He provided global customers with new product development, software-based services, and unique engineering solutions, promoting Honeywell's leapfrog growth through innovative technologies. The Mexico Innovation Incubation Factory he established and led has nurtured two technology companies that have successfully achieved independent operations. During his seven-year tenure as Vice President of Honeywell's Specialty Materials and Technologies Group and General Manager of the Asia-Pacific region, he achieved a threefold increase in the business revenue in the Asia-Pacific region. He expanded the business footprint by establishing a regional R&D center, ten manufacturing plants (including four joint ventures), and 19 business centers, firmly rooting the company's development in the Asia-Pacific region.
