Recently, the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) announced its list of Outstanding Reviewers worldwide for 2024 and 2025 for its flagship journal, ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. Professor Fan Zhang from the College of Information Science and Technology has been honored with this distinction. Congratulations!
ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS P&RS) is a top international journal in photogrammetry, remote sensing, and spatial information science. It achieved a 2024–2025 impact factor of 12.2 and a 5-year impact factor of 13.7. It ranks 1st globally (1/67) in physical geography journals, 2nd globally (2/65) in remote sensing journals, and 4th globally (4/258) in multidisciplinary geosciences journals within the WOS JCR Q1 category. The journal has long been recognized as a CAS First-Class Top Journal.
Professor Fan Zhang’s research focuses on SAR signal processing and image interpretation. His related technologies have been applied in engineering projects including SAR satellites and major scientific facilities. He has published more than 90 SCI papers, among which over 60 are high-quality contributions in prestigious journals and conferences such as ISPRS P&RS, IEEE TGRS, CVPR, and ICCV, with more than 7,000 citations on Google Scholar.
